VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are the core of the station, and we would not be the diverse station we are without them. We always welcome applications from people wishing to get involved, and we have opportunities in all aspects of the radio station- your volunteering can be tailored to suit your interests! Radio is more than just presenting but includes research and journalism as well as opportunities to support areas such as marketing, promotions, fundraising and office administration.

Although our main studios are based in South East Wales, we have exciting technology in place to encourage small groups and individuals to contribute to programmes via your own satellite centre. Access is also possible by sending voice files, interacting via social networking sites and using live chat facilities.

We always welcome new ideas and are keen to get as many individuals involved as possible. If there’s anything we don’t cover on the show that you think deserves some exposure and discussion, then let us know!

TRAINING

We also have facilities in place for running radio training courses for individuals or small groups keen to gain knowledge in radio and its processes. We currently run a variety of projects within different areas of the community, all of which have been highly successful.
